- S.M.A.R.T. command failed
- bootmgr not found.

Funnily enough the system works after a reset. One of the drives is causing a bit of trouble it seems, freezing the whole system for several minutes.
I'm scandisking the drives now, we'll see then.

A few days ago I ran into the Corrupted Spider Queen while playing. I knew it was waiting for me around the corner, so it didn't surprise me. It totally destroyed my entire team anyway. At that point I was close to throwing away the mouse and wondering why they'd make this stupid spider so damned strong. I quit playing and went to bed.
Today I started playing, thinking I'd probably just walk away, do some other quest, and come back with a few extra character levels.
I did try once more though. And I was yet again surprised at how tactical the game is. Just positioning your team a little differently, using ranged weapons instead of melee ones, and concentrating on my mage's spells made all the difference. The other spiders that spawn during the fight were just out of range and didn't come to help the queen either, which helps a whole lot.
In the end, the fight ended with 0 casulties on my side, instead of the "Your Journey Ends Here" screen a few days ago.

Also found a bug btw. Bodahn is selling parts of the Blood Dragon Armor, even though I've already got them. The breast plate is missing of course, so you can't get an entire second set. Would've been fun to have to whole team run around in that thing. It's one of the best armor sets in the game anyway.

Sorry for posting this much about Dragon Age, I'm sort of fascinated by the game. And it's way more interesting than my real life, which consists of work, the prospect of being out of work and not really knowing how to deal with that, etc. Far less interesting I assure you d;

The title says it all. Also, I graduated, and even made dean's list =0)

I'm happy, I think. There is the now, just the now. Then there are the thoughts, the ones that we always try to keep at bay - the Austins and Huis of now, sort of speak - the ones that haunt you. I still can't forget, and sometimes I think this feeling of homelessness and displacement will never really fade.

But I only know how to love, so that's what I will do. Even when it's unrequited; sometimes the importance lies in the act rather than anything else.

Maybe I'll start writing again.

Oh life. I love, I live.

Anyone got a decent TV tuner card they'd like to recommend?
I just removed my very crappy Terratec Cinergy from my system in order to have it run properly again. I'd had to re-install its drivers every few days in order to get reception again, and in the end the drivers kept hanging Media Center, and disabling them resulted in blue screens.
I hate Terratec now.

Na ja, bis auf die DVD Box, aber die ist vergleichsweise günstig (;
